A five part mix series curated by Double Scorpio and Mouthfeel

Double Scorpio proudly presents the SoundBaths mix series, a curated five-part series where we imagine owning our very own bathhouse and selecting the perfect music.

While we don’t actually own one ourselves… considering interest rates and what it would be like to handle an oversized water bill we are going to hold off, but in honor of Pride we are letting our minds run wild with the possibilities.

Each mix in the series represents an hour in a single night which you the listener explore the dark hallways, steam rooms, pools and private rooms of the bathhouse. The further along in the series the deeper you’ve been pulled into the Sound Baths. You start at midnight and exit in the daylight. Hopefully you come out alive, or at least get your life.

From years of twirling around the country and attending raves (plus one colorful visit to the American Bathhouse Associations annual convention) we’ve picked some of our favorite DJs spanning from the West coast to the deep South to the East coast. We gave the DJs three simple parameters for the mix to ensure maximum sensuality: play what you would want to hear at a bathhouse, do not exceed 115 BPM, and THERE MUST BE FUCKING VOCALS. Simple right?
